In order to enhance
the application process, the
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering observes
a two-deadline system.
The Application Deadline
The Application Deadline stated by the Graduate School is repeated here for your convenience. This is the last date that you may pay your application fee and complete your application in ApplyYourself. One to two business days after you complete your application and pay your fee, you will receive an email from the Gradaute School with further instructions for completing the application process. This will include logging into an ECE online tool called GradWatch to indicate your research area of interest, and, in the case of international graduate applicants, to provide additional information about the institute where you received your undergraduate degree. Review of
your application does not begin until all of your application
materials and credentials have been received including completion of GradWatch forms. Since financial aid is offered
to the most qualified students at the earliest possible date,
applicants are encouraged to complete the application and submit all supporting documentation well ahead of this deadline. Review of your application begins when all materials have been received.
The Documents Deadline
This deadline is the last date that application materials
will be accepted. Application materials include recommendations, TOEFL scores, GRE scores and original transcripts. Applicants that complete their package between the Applicaton Deadline and the Documents Deadline are not considered for financial aid. Their acceptance into the program is on an admittance-only
basis.
Review Completion
When your review is complete, the Graduate
School is notified of your acceptance status into the program. You may track your status through ApplyYourself.
