Autonomous Robotics Workshop
The Department of Electrical and Computer
Engineering offers a two week summer program for high
school
students who have completed their sophomore or junior year. The autonomous
robotics summer workshop enables students to build a robotic
car
that can automatically track a line, follow a light, or hide in the
dark. The car runs without an operator!
Students will learn
basic
programming, electronics, how to use a microcontroller, and circuit
construction techniques. Prizes will be awarded at the final competition
and students will keep their car to take home to amaze their friends
and family! This innovative, hands on experience provides students
with
the opportunity to expand their own creativity, as well as teach
them the fundamentals behind electrical and computer engineering.
NC State
provides room and board, meals, access to athletic and recreational
facilities, workshop supplies, and recreational activities for
the students.
This is a fun and interactive program for students who
are considering engineering as a future career or who want to learn
more about
electrical
and computer engineering! For more information on this exciting summer
opportunity, visit the Summer
Workshops page, go directly

Robotics Summer Workshop listing or contact:
