Suggested Language for a Will Bequest
If there is or will be an endowment agreement by the donors:
I give to the NC State Engineering Foundation, Inc. of Raleigh,
North Carolina the sum of $____ {OR ___percent of my estate, OR
the following property___, OR all of the remainder of my estate}
to fund the {Name of the Endowment} pursuant the Memorandum of
Understanding between the Foundation and myself.
If the gift is unrestricted:
I give to the NC State Engineering Foundation, Inc. of Raleigh,
North Carolina the sum of $____ {OR ___percent of my estate, OR
the following property___, OR all of the remainder of my estate}
to be used at the College of Engineering at North Carolina State
University to enhance the programs at the College at the discretion
of the Dean and the Foundation Board.
If for a general purpose, but not a specific endowment:
I give to the NC State Engineering Foundation, Inc. of Raleigh,
North Carolina the sum of $____ {OR ___percent of my estate, OR
the following property___, OR all of the remainder of my estate}
to be used at the College of Engineering at North Carolina State
University to enhance the college’s programs and research in {describe
area to benefit}.
