Functions provided by the Alliance

The functions of the alliance are to provide a rich course offering to NCSU students, to align the student's education with the needs of industry, support the infrastructure required to teach these courses, and to provide for other opportunities for University-Industry partnership on the circuits and systems enabled by them. Examples of such opportunities include technical seminars, corporate "mixers". Technical areas covered within the alliance include analog, RF, microwave, digital and mixed mode circuit design (both VLSI integrated circuits and with discrete devices), design for signal integrity, and system design using these techniques. Application areas include networking, communications, DSP, sensor systems and computing systems.
