Architecture Research for PErformance, Reliability, and Security |

Overview |
Architecture Research for PErformance, Reliability, and Security (ARPERS) research team was founded in 2002 and is led by Dr. Yan Solihin. ARPERS activities are currently funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), Intel, IBM through Faculty Partnership Award, North Carolina State University, and through equipment grants from IBM and HP. ARPERS activities focus on computer architecture exploration and modeling to support cross-cutting design issues such as performance, Quality of Service, interaction with software systems, security, and reliability. Research in such issues is critical in the multi-billion transistors on a chip era in the coming years. We are constantly looking for graduate students to work on interesting and pressing problems in this area. We are specifically looking for students with strong analytical and problem solving skills, strong programming skills, and background knowledge in computer architecture, systems software, and compilers. Drop an email if you are interested in joining ARPERS. For an overview of current research activities at ARPERS, here is the list of abstracts from recent publications. |
