Registration is now open for the Spring 2009, NC State Entrepreneurs Lecture Series, featuring Marshall Brain, founder of HowStuffWorks.com and noted author and speaker. Marshall's lecture will be a part of the awards ceremony for the first NC State Entrepreneurship Olympiad eGames competition. We invite you to come early and cheer on the NC State students as they demonstrate their innovative and entrepreneurial skills in this exciting new event. In addition to the prizes for the eGames Olympiad, the NC State Earthwise Awards will be presented during the awards ceremony. The Earthwise Awards were developed through the Campus Environmental Sustainability Team (CEST) to recognize a student, staff, and faculty member who has shown an exemplary commitment to sustainability at NCSU. Event runs from noon to 5:30PM at the College of Textiles, Room 2309. Details can be found on the registration page.

The Entrepreneurs' Lecture Series, developed by the Office of Public Affairs, is designed to showcase outstanding innovation and entrepreneurship among NC State alumni and partners. The lecture series is co-sponsored by the Entrepreneurship Initiative, started in July 2008 and led Dr. Tom Miller, professor of electrical and computer engineering, to help prepare undergraduate students from around campus for the world of entrepreneurship.
