Raleigh Grand Challenge Summit 2010

LocationNorth Carolina State University and Duke University
Start Date March 3, 2010
End Date March 5, 2010

The Raleigh Summit is a high profile venue to help prepare the next generation of engineers to address the "grand challenge” level issues that will shape the 21st century. The Summit will touch on all fourteen Grand Challenges through a general discussion of American Innovation and Competitiveness and so should be of interest to all engineering disciplines. However, the event will also focus on the grand challenge themes of energy sustainability, health, and nuclear security. Participants should leave the Summit with a heightened awareness of the link between technology and public policy on the world stage.
