Everyone is invited to attend the NC State University Solar Fuels Open Forum. The Forum will be Wednesday, February 10 at 1 pm, in Monteith Research Center's Room 246. The meeting is open
to all NC State faculty and administrators; please feel free to disseminate this announcement. The purpose of the Forum is to allow open discussion of the activities underway to prepare a proposal responding to the DOE solicitation for a Solar Fuels Hub.

Teams of scientists, engineers, and others experts from NC State University, UNC-CH, Duke University, and RTI have worked hard to lay the foundation for a proposal to create the RTP National Solar Fuels Laboratory. The proposal will be submitted March 29, 2010.

John Petersen, Executive Director of the RTEC Solar Fuels Project, will lead the discussion. In addition, Terri Lomax, Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies, will attend. We encourage you and any interested colleagues to attend this discussion to answer questions about research, translation, and management plans.

If you cannot attend the Forum, we are available to answer questions. Thank you for your support of the effort to bring the RTP National Solar Fuels Laboratory into reality.
