Dr. Mathur is the Director of Research of Tissue Regeneration and Molecular Cell Engineering Labs (TRAMCEL). She has a joint appointment as an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Biomedical Engineering and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She received a MS and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University. She is also a NC State Alumni where she received two BS with honors Magna Cum Laude and a MS. Her primary research interests are in the area of engineering biological solutions in Nanomedicine and Regenerative Medicine.
