Registration

ECE events such as the GO Event are made possible by the generous donations of our corporate partners. Companies interested in attending should follow the instructions below.

  1. Review the Event Format and the Cancellation Policy.
  2. Employers should register by logging into their ePACK account, www.ncsu.edu/epack/employer, and clicking Career Events. You'll find the "Golden Opportunities" event within. Select it, then choose to register. Employers without an ePACK account may also request one from this site.
  3. Questions about registration can be directed to Leslie Rand-Pickett, 919-515-2396 or leslie_randpickett@ncsu.edu.

Gold Level Sponsorship -- $500

Platinum Level Sponsorship -- $2000
For companies that wish to further invest in our promotional activities and increase their student recognition. Platinum Sponsorship of the Golden Opportunities Event is limited to three companies. In addition to the benefits enjoyed by our Gold Level Sponsors, Platinum Sponsorship provides additional exposure on the event website, brochures, digitalsignage, and all emails out to students. Event Format

Career Fair ImageDue to the overwhelming interest and feedback we continually receive from companies, we've updated the GO Event to address your needs and expectations.

All sponsors are invited to attend our GO dinner at 5pm -- on the way to the dinner, check in at the registration booth to receive your resume booklets, room and booth assignment, and directions to both.

The night will consist of four 30-minute presentation sessions; each followed by a 10 minute break. The first two sessions will be held in rooms with capacities ranging from 25-60 students each; we anticipate between 8 and 10 companies to be speaking at once. The final two sessions will be held in rooms with larger capacities: 60-150 students in each. During the last two sessions, we'll reduce the number of companies speaking to 5 and then 3. [These numbers are approximations and will be adjusted depending on the final number of companies registered.]

Assignment of slots will be determined by expressed student interest in your company -- which we will evaluate via an inhouse ranking system -- and previous attendance numbers (for those companies returning to the event). Our goal is to spread the students around so each company presentation can be well attended. We encourage companies new to our department to ask about other ways in which they can involve themselves in the department and by doing so, help to bolster student interest in their company and its opportunities.

Throughout the evening, students will have the opportunity to visit your information booths, and we conclude the evening with a raffle for the students -- companies who wish to donate "swag" for the raffle are encouraged to do so (please inform us ahead of time). The evening will conclude at 9pm.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds are available only to companies who cancel 30 days or more prior to the first day of the Engineering Career Fair. We are unable to refund cancellations made less than 30 days prior to the first day of the GO Event -- such funds will be considered a donation to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and used to support student initiatives.
