The GO Event will be held at Engineering Building II. Presentations begin at 6pm; students are expected to arrive early (we generally have 300 students, so come at 5pm) to check in at the registration booth to sign-in and receive their nametag and list of company room assignments.
The evening will consist of 4 rounds of presentations from a variety of companies -- each will receive 30 minutes to talk to you about opportunities at their company. During the first two rounds we expect to offer a choice of 8-10 companies; the last two rounds we'll have less presentations and these will be held in our larger auditoriums. While you're walking between presentations, be sure to drop by the booth of your favorite companies.
Parking outside of Engineering Building II is available after 5pm. Wolfline routes 3, 8 and 11 -- Engineering, Southeast and Village Link -- also service the building. For more information, please visit the University Transportation website.
Students are required to register for the GO Event. The Department of
Electrical and Computer Engineering has partnered with the University Career Center to provide a streamlined registration process for you through ePack -- their on-line system that connects employers to NC State students for internships and jobs.
Pre-Registration for Students now open!
We're still recruiting companies for the 2011 GO Event, but here's a sampling of our companies from the event over the years. Many of these companies have returned year after year, so expect to see a few in our 2011 line-up.
