Mission Statement

The High Performance Digital Signal Processing Laboratory has been involved in both basic and applied research in the development of algorithms and architecture for signal processing, genomic signal processing, and hardware design tools for signal processing applications. The overall research program is directed toward solving problems that require high performance by simultaniously optimizing algorithms and the associated architecture to obtain a system with high throughput, high efficiency, low power, and close to linear speedup as the system size grows.
