Robert Trew has been awarded $180,000 by the University of California - Santa Barbara for research on Reliability Modeling of High Voltage AlGaN/GaN HFETs.

The award will run from March 14th, 2008 to April 30th, 2011.

Research Abstract - This project is directed towards the development of mathematical models for AlGaN/GaN HFETs that can be used to investigate physical phenomena that affect both short term and long term reliability. Physical processes are modeled and used as a basis to explain reliability issues.
