Mr. Srivardhan Gowda is the recipient of the 2005-2006 Texas Instruments Graduate Fellowship for Leadership in Nanoelectronics. Mr. Gowda is a student of
Prof. Veena Misra. His graduate research work is in the area of Molecular Electronics which is a cross-disciplinary effort between
Dr. Misra,
Dr. Lindsey (Dept. of chemistry, NCSU),
Dr. Bocian (Dept. of chemistry, UCR) and
Zettacore, Inc. His Ph.D. thesis deals with fabrication, characterization and modeling of hybrid silicon/molecular devices for memory applications. He plans to graduate in 2006.
The Texas Instruments Graduate Fellowship for Leadership in Nanoelectronics is awarded by
Texas Instruments' Silicon Technology Development (SiTD) organization. SiTD established the NCSU fellowship in 2004 as part of its effort to encourage and support graduate work in Nanoelectronics. This fellowship underscores TI's commitment to supporting graduate research within the country's top research intensive universities.
