GENSIPS Workshop to Be Held in Raleigh

The Workshop on Genomic Signal Processing and Statistics (GENSIPS) will be held at the Brownstone Hotel in Raleigh, NC, on October 12-13, 2002. This two-day workshop hopes to identify areas of collaboration between researchers in the biological, statistical, and signal processing fields. Consisting of both invited and contributed sessions, the speakers will give tutorials on genetics, bioinformatics, and genomic signal processing. There will also be a panel discussion and four plenary sessions. Dr. Hamid Krim, Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, is chairing the Technical Program Committee of the conference. (More)
