Materials Research Society Features Salah Bedair

Brian Coppa has announced that the first meeting of the semester for the Materials Research Society (MRS) will be on Wednesday, August 21, 5-6pm. The meeting will be held in Riddick 234-A. NCSU Professor of Electrical Engineering, Salah Bedair, will be giving a guest talk that he has presented around the world. Entitled "Semiconductor Light Bulbs," the talk will focus on an array of light-emitting devices such as lasers and LEDs.
Free pizza and drinks will be available at the meeting, and MRS will sponsor refreshments for a social gathering thereafter at Mitch's Tavern on Hillsborough St.
