Eckerd Drugs to Terminate Pharmacy Coverage

Eckerd Drugs has formally notified AdvancePCS that it intends to terminate its pharmacy participation under the State Health Plan effective midnight July 15, 2002.
Although other drug store chains will continue to accept the pharmacy plan for State Employees, Eckerd's decision is the second major chain to announce terminate coverage. CVS pharmacies will discontinue coverage on July 1, 2002.
