Invitation to Graduate School Seminar: "Graduate School Survival Skills"

Undergraduate students who plan to apply to graduate school and new graduate students are invited to attend a professional development seminar that will be presented by an Associate Dean of the Graduate School and a panel of graduate students.
Dr. Rebeca Rufty, Associate Dean, will start out the program and address questions such as: What does the graduate school expect from students? What are the requirements you need to meet in order to obtain your graduate degree? She will be followed by a panel of four seasoned graduate students from different disciplines who will talk about their experiences in graduate school and what has made them successful. A question and answer session will follow.
The program will be held in the Witherspoon Student Center Cinema on the NC State University Campus on Thursday, November 6, 2003, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
