All ECE undergraduate students working on individual research projects are invited to contribute to the 1st ECE undergraduate research symposium by submitting two-page abstracts summarizing their research results. The abstracts may include drawings, graphs and photographs illustrating the research results. The abstracts should include the name of the faculty advisor and the starting date of the research project. The deadline for abstract submission is March 31, 2006. The abstracts should be submitted as e-mail attachments to Mehmet C. Ozturk (mco@ncsu.edu). The symposium program will include oral presentations by students and a poster session. The organizing committee will select the three best papers for awards, which will include $250 (1st place), IPOD shuffle (2nd place) and ECE T-Shirt (3rd place). After the symposium, both posters and presentations will be posted at the newly constructed ECE undergraduate research web site.
