ABB and Progress Energy join SPEC Consortium for Advanced Power Electronics and Energy Storage (CAPES)
ABB and Progress Energy recently joined the SPEC Consortium for Advanced Power Electronics and Energy Storage (CAPES). CAPES is set up to forge closer industry-university relationship in the ever increasingly important area of electric power system power management research and education. SPEC graduate students will use the funding to conduct research in the areas of electric power syste, utility power electronics and energy storage.
