The Insight Racing Team which consists of students, alumni, faculty and industries, put their 1987 Chevy Suburban to the test, using only a remote control. In 2005, they competed against 23 teams in The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agencies Grand Challenge in Nevada, which was an off road course through the desert.  Only 5 of the 23 teams finished the course.  The Insight Team finished 12th.

The teams next challenge will be on  November 3, 2007. Due to the dynamic environment changes of this challenge, including, stop signs, moving vechiles, and right-of-ways, the team has decided to upgrade their car.  Tomorrow at 11 a.m. outside of EBII Centenial Campus they will have the unvailing of the new car.
