Rashmi Jha, a graduate student in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has received the prestigious Graduate Student Award at Materials Research Society, Spring Meeting in
San Francisco this year. The award is presented to graduate students for excellence in research. Rashmi is a student of Prof. Veena Misra and is conducting research in advanced metal gate electrodes for nano-scale silicon devices. Rashmi is also a recipient of two year fellowship from Applied Materials to conduct research in advanced CMOS devices.
