ECE Students Buckle Down and Step Up to the Challenge

A team of students in NC State’s Electrical and Computer Engineering Department are working to develop the next big step in the automobile industry. They are modifying a Lotus Elise, a high performance sports car, to pilot itself. The car is being developed as part of the Government Advanced Research Projects Urban Challenge in which NC State is competing against 78 other teams around the nation.
