This month's Innovators Forum will feature student projects from the Engineering Entrepreneurs Program (http://www.engr.ncsu.edu/eep).  The kick-off presentation will be given by Dr. James Zuiches, Vice Chancellor for Extension, Engagement, and Economic Development (http://www.ncsu.edu/extension/).  Dr. Zuiches has recently been leading a university-wide effort to obtain a Kauffman Foundation grant for NC State to infuse entrepreneurship education across the curriculum.  He will talk about this initiative and its implications for entrepreneurial programs at NC State, including programs like the EEP.
 
The two EEP student presentations will be:

Company #1: Race KITS

Speakers: Rob Taylor, CEO, and Eric Larsen, CTO

Abstract:
Race KITS (Race Kart Information Technology Systems) is developing an innovative tracking technology using RFID.  Their system provides real-time data to their race management system providing vital statistics to the race team.

Company #2: Digital Learning Solutions

Speakers: Jonathan Lee, President, and Rayfield Oglesby, VP Sales and Marketing

Abstract:
Digital Learning Solutions is developing the next-generation of learning aids and methods. Their debut product, Total Recall, is built off their ground-breaking Confidence Code technology for monitoring personal confidence levels with any new material, allowing anyone, anywhere, to become fluent in any subject in record time.
