Graduate Student Research Symposium

February 13, 2007
On behalf of the NC State University Graduate Student Association (UGSA) and the Graduate School, I am pleased to invite you to attend the Second Annual NC State University Graduate Student Research Symposium. The Symposium will be held in the Talley Student Center Ballroom on Wednesday, March 21, 2007. The poster session will be from 1:30 to 4:00, followed by presentations of research awards from 4:00 to 5:00. There will be 77 poster presentations representing research being conducted in every college. The primary goal of the symposium is to showcase the outstanding quality and diversity of graduate research at NC State. This is a great opportunity for all to take a look at the interesting research projects being conducted at the graduate level. Undergraduates who are interested applying to graduate school will certainly benefit from talking to our graduate students about their research, and perhaps getting ideas as to how to present their research at conferences at which they may participate in the future. The agenda, abstracts, and additional information on the symposium may be found at http://www.fis.ncsu.edu/grad_fellows/symposium/. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at the e-mail address or phone number listed below. I hope to see you on March 21!!
