NC State Engineers Hold Annual Engineers' Week Activities

March 12, 2007

The College of Engineering at North Carolina State University announces annual Engineers’ Week (E-Week) activities to be held March 12 – 16 at various locations both on and off campus.

National Engineers’ Week was founded in 1951 as a way to unite engineers, engineering students and teachers across the U.S. in a celebration of the engineering profession and its many accomplishments.

Local events for E-Week include workshops to prepare students for careers and graduate school, a blood drive and the annual Egg Drop Contest, the last of which will be held Wednesday, March 14, on the NC State Brickyard.

The public and the media are invited to attend. For a complete list of activities scheduled, visit http://students.engr.ncsu.edu/e-council/eweek.php.
