Faculty Laptop Pilot Seminar

A seminar for 40 College of Engineering faculty, selected as participants in a pilot program that provides laptop computers to faculty for use in teaching, will be held in 321 Mann, Tues-Wed, Aug. 10-11, 8:30-1:30 and 11:45-4:45. The purpose of the seminar is to help faculty prepare to teach students on laptops in upcoming years.

Plans for a next-generation Eos computing infrastructure in the college have focused on student- and faculty-owned computers with access to engineering resources via remote access and discipline-specific computing labs. The plans are available for viewing:
