Hardware Facilities (OLEG)
The following hardware is actively used for our research:
- UV Laser Holography Setup (HeCd, 325nm, ultraviolet)
- IR Laser Optical Trapping System (Nd:YAG, 1064nm, infrared)
- Visible Laser Opto-Electronic Characterization (HeNe, 633nm, red)
- Spectrophotometer (UV-Visible-IR)
- Various Light-Emitting-Diode (LED) light sources and optical fiber components
- Thin-film Processing (spin-coater, UV-Ozone cleaner, laminar flow cleanbench)
- Photo-polymerization Vacuum and Hotplate Chamber (custom)
- Stereoscope (high resolution)
- Apple PowerMac G5 (Dual 2.5GHz Processors, 8GB)
Complementary capabilities for fabrication and characterization are available at NCSU at the Nanofabrication Facility and the Analytical Instrumentation Facitility.
NOTE: Integrate the following in some way to above:
- Create a tool page for each, with picture and standard operating procedure
- Add minispectrometer
- Add auto spin-coater
- Add auto dispensing
- Add polarimeter
- Add IR characterization
