Hardware Facilities (OLEG)

The following hardware is actively used for our research:

• UV Laser Holography Setup (HeCd, 325nm, ultraviolet)
• IR Laser Optical Trapping System (Nd:YAG, 1064nm, infrared)
• Visible Laser Opto-Electronic Characterization (HeNe, 633nm, red)
• Spectrophotometer (UV-Visible-IR)
• Various Light-Emitting-Diode (LED) light sources and optical fiber components
• Thin-film Processing (spin-coater, UV-Ozone cleaner, laminar flow cleanbench)
• Photo-polymerization Vacuum and Hotplate Chamber (custom)
• Stereoscope (high resolution)
• Apple PowerMac G5 (Dual 2.5GHz Processors, 8GB)

Complementary capabilities for fabrication and characterization are available at NCSU at the Nanofabrication Facility and the Analytical Instrumentation Facitility.

NOTE: Integrate the following in some way to above:

• Create a tool page for each, with picture and standard operating procedure
• Add minispectrometer
• Add auto spin-coater
• Add auto dispensing
• Add polarimeter
• Add IR characterization
• Add microscope
