Ken Dulaney

Director of Industry and Innovation

Biography

Ken is Director of Industry and Innovation at the FREEDM Systems Center, a smart grid research center headquartered at NC State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, he manages industry relationships for the Center, promotes the commercialization of center developed technologies, and helps students make connections for internships or full time employment. He also manages Center marketing activities including website, newsletter, and conference trade show booth. He loves working with students, but wishes they would keep the break room clean. Prior to this role, Ken worked in air quality and industrial energy efficiency. He holds a BS in Physics from Furman University, a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech, and a Masters in ME from the University of Texas at Austin.
