Dr. Nino A Masnari

Dean Emeritus & Distinguished Professor

| Biography

Nino A. Masnari is Dean Emeritus and Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at NC State University. He was previously a faculty member (1969-1979) and Director of the Electron Physics Laboratory (1977-79) at The University of Michigan. He came to NC State in 1979 as Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and in 1988 became the founding director of the NSF Engineering Research Center on Advanced Electronic Materials Processing and the SEMATECH Center of Excellence on Advanced Single Wafer Processing. He subsequently was appointed as Dean of Engineering at NC State in 1996 and returned to the ECE department in 2006.
