Assembling, programming, administering, troubleshooting, taking it out in the woods and beating it with a bat--when it comes to computers, Mike has seemingly done it all. Nestled within the esoterica that is modern computing, however, lies Linux and this is where Mike's interests lie. Since coming into contact with Linux while pursuing his Computer Science degree he has taken every opportunity to remain within the Open Source world. This lead to him working at Red Hat in the past, acting as the ECE Linux Sysadmin currently and advocating "the Linux way" whenever possible (much to the dismay of his Redmond friendly colleagues).

In addition to preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse, Mike enjoys reading, puzzles and games, mountain biking and playing with his dogs.
