The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is pleased to welcome new faculty member, Alex Huang.  Dr. Huang’s research is in novel power semiconductor devices based on silicon and non-silicon materials, power management integrated circuits for portable and mobile devices, power integrated circuit technology, and utility applications of solid-state high power electronics (FACTS devices).  He received his Ph.D. from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom.
