Lazzi Elected Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Journal

Dr. Gianluca Lazzi, Professor, ECE Department of NC State Dr. Gianluca Lazzi, professor of electrical and computer engineering at North Carolina State University, has been elected editor-in-chief of the journal, IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters.  His three-year term begins in January 2008.  The journal features new research results and technical developments in the areas of antennas and wireless propagation.

Lazzi is internationally known for his groundbreaking work in bioelectromagnetics and retinal prosthetics.  He received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Utah in 1998.  He joined the NC State faculty in 1999.
