Order of the Engineer
The College of Engineering at NC State would like to invite you to join the “Introduction to the Profession Ceremony” to demonstrate your commitment to the upholding the standards and dignity of the Engineering Profession. Much like medical graduates take the Hippocratic Oath, Engineering graduates are encouraged to recite The Obligation, an oath to uphold an ethical code. During the ceremony, held during graduation week, a stainless steel ring will be placed upon your working hand as a symbol of your commitment to conducting yourself in an ethical and competent manner as an Engineer.
The Recognition of Graduates Event on May 8, 2019 4:00 pm requires RSVP online.
