DR. JACK ROGER BRIDGES, Ph.D. went home to be with his Lord surrounded by his loved ones. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son, and friend. It is impossible to describe how much he meant to all of us. He was a brilliant scientist and a gifted counselor. More importantly, he was a devoted child of God. His faith shaped his life and the Bible was his deepest inspiration. His greatest desire is to see everyone he loves in heaven. Jack received his electrical engineering doctoral degree from NCSU in 1969. He went on to improve methods for manufacturing computer chips and succeeded quickly in the semi-conductor industry. He traveled the world. In 1985-86, he attended Denver Seminary where he earned a counseling degree. In 1992, he returned to Raleigh and started Bridges Christian Counseling Center. He eventually returned to his roots where he retired in 2003 from NCSU's IT Department.
